Before planting, it ensures the fragmentation of the clods on the soil surface and the smoothing of the surface. It guarantees the trouble-free operation of the sowing machine and the germination of the sown seed. It is also used for planting before winter and for compacting loose soil that has swollen when the season ends. Compacting the top layer of the soil ensures the retention of moisture and water in the soil, better germination of the soil, and healthier root development. In rolled fields, yield is increased and soil erosion is minimized.
